Latin American & Caribbean Geography

There are many different culture and places that make up Latin America. At first the continent had belonged to North America, Caribbean, Central America, and south America. The main way that people communicate in Latin American is Spanish, more they half of the continent speaks Spanish and 34% speak Portuguese( Lyons 2017). This unites Latin America because even though they have different cultures their languages is what makes them unit because the languages are very similarly.

Many people in Latin America do not speak Spanish. But many people believe that you have to if you live in Latin American Because Spanish is the most common language spoke in America . But from this picture you can see that even though they look different they still can communicate. where they are in the Latin American has a big affect on how much the people talk to each other. According to the Latin America and the Caribbean, ” When Latin America and especially the Caribbean are mentioned in casual conversation and the popular media, images of lush tropical paradises often come to a mind.”(Clawson 2018). From this quote you can see that where the people are at has big affect on how much they speak because in other areas and I also believe that it might have something to do with the cultures. Their language is want makes them different and the mix of colors and they all come from different backgrounds.

Latin America has many different places where you can experience many different things like the many different cultures that are in Latin America.
